The modern dietary regimen known as the Paleolithic diet or; Paleo Diet, Caveman Diet, Stone Age Diet, and Hunter-Gatherer Diet is a nutritional plan based on the presumed ancient diet of wild plants and animals habitually consumed during the Paleolithic era.
The human body evolved for more than 2 million years with the food found in nature: game meat, fish, vegetables, wild fruits, eggs and nuts. The human race was thriving on this diet high in animal fat and proteins and low in carbohydrates.
